Cops Go Undercover to Bust Texting Drivers
I've heard of undercover cops, they usually (in this town) end up looking like cops in t-shirts. But in Georgia, officers went full-scale undercover.
They posed as construction workers to nab drivers that were texting and driving. They handed out about 60 tickets in just 3 hours.
First time offenders were given a $50 fine. Second time offenders were fined $100, while third time offenders were slapped with a $150 bill.
Should local law enforcement try something like this to crack down on texting and driving?
Check out the video below. I was kinda surprised there was no boombox in sight.
