I-90 Snoqualmie Pass continues to be treacherous to drivers this winter. 2 separate crashed this morning cased 2 motorist to lose their lives.

According to a post by KNDU:

SNOQUALMIE PASS – The Washington State Patrol says two people were killed in two multi-vehicle crashes heading west on Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie Summit Friday.

It happened just before 7 a.m. near Milepost 54. WSDOT has closed westbound I-90 at Ellensburg milepost 106, Easton milepost 71 and at Hyak, milepost 54.

Troopers say it was two separate collisions involving up to ten vehicles. Up to two semi-trucks may be involved.

No word on what caused the crashes.
