In a bizarre and brutal news story, residents in the London neighborhood of Woolwich, blocks from a military barracks, were in shock Wednesday afternoon after a soldier was first ran over by a vehicle and then murdered in the street with a 'machete-style knife'. Afterwards the attackers calmly walk around the scene, talking to people in the streets, spewing political statements, all with blood soaked hands and still holding multiple weapons.

Police first responded to reports of a serious incident and assault just blocks from Royal Artillery Barracks. Witnesses say two men drove their vehicle into a a young army cadet walking along the street. They carried out an attack on the cadet in the middle of the street using a 'substantial number of weapons'.

Police responded and shot the two suspects. Both were taken to the hospital, one in serious condition. Government officials believe the attack to be motivated by radical Islam.

ITV News ran video showing a man talking to an anonymous cameraman still wielding a meat cleaver and knife in his blood soaked hands, all while his victim lays in the street. The man apologizes to those who "have had to witness this" attack, saying that "in our land our women have to see the same."
