Crying Baby? This Trick Helps a Ton!

I'm finding all sorts of new tricks as a brand new parent. The question parents of a newborn child face most: What do I do to make her stop crying? 

I've fed her, I've changed her, I'm holding her; but she won't stop crying.

A trick my friend taught me was to play rain noises/run a tap.

The white noise simulates the atmosphere of the womb and is comforting to the baby. I have an app on my phone I use to sleep, so I play it for her. I can also ask Alexa to "play rain sounds" if am holding her and need to go hands-free.
