Dial-A-Ride Bus KNOCKED OVER in Gnarly Collision

I know it sounds cliche, but look both ways even if you have a green light. You never know who may be speeding through a red light.

That's what happened in Richland this week. An SUV tore through a red light on Thayer/Swift in Richland, striking a Dial-a-Ride bus turning right.

The SUV hit the bus with such velocity, it knocked the bus over.

A 21 year-old passenger had to be cut out from her seatbelt and taken to a hospital. A witness at the scene helped officers get her out.

Charges have not yet been made against the driver of the SUV, but they have been found at fault.
