Deputies with the Yakima County Sheriff's Office assisted Moxee Police in apprehending a man wanted for drugs.

Saturday night, the wanted suspect fled Moxee Police, who initially pulled him over. I guess he thought he'd give it a go.

Police caught up to the man a short time later. This time, the driver got away again, striking a deputy's vehicle.  As a chase ensued, deputies put down spike strips which were successful in deflating a tire and stopped the suspect.  This time, the wanted suspect knew it was over, and gave up.

After a search warrant was obtained, suspected fentanyl pills, packaging materials, and cash were found in the vehicle.

The wanted drug suspect was taken to the Yakima County Jail and now faces several more felonies.
