How the tables turned on Tejay Beaty. On December 27, 2014, Beaty pulled up to a police officer to report a neighborhood kid throwing a rock at his Jeep. When asked by the officer if he had been drinking, Beaty answered, "A lot."

Beaty then drove away with the police officer following him in pursuit. He lost control of his vehicle, and fled by foot. He was eventually tased and apprehended. On his person, police found a pipe which would test positive for meth.

Beaty was charged to 12 months and one day in prison as well as 12 months of community custody for a possession of meth charge. Beaty was also sentenced to 12 and a half months in prison with another 12 and a half months of community custody for an attempting to elude charge.
