Eat Dinner, Drink Wine, and Help Benton City Wineries Raise Money for the Food Bank
Eat. Drink. And help others. Several Benton City Wineries are hosting a dinner event this Friday to help the Benton City Food Bank. The progressive dinner starts at one winery then moves to different wineries to try appetizers, wines, and finally a dinner catered by Fat Olives. The dinner is August 11th, and the proceeds go to help the food bank to buy coolers to house the vegetables that local wineries are growing to help the food bank have fresh produce.
Started by Shae Frichette (owner of Frichette Winery), Benton City Giving Garden project, donated more than a thousand pounds of produce to the Benton City Food Bank last year. Tickets to the dinner are $85 and reservations are recommended as the event is limited.
