Conspiracy theorists would think this isn't such a good move, but I say bring it on -- Facebook plans to make the Internet accessible to everyone by the means of a satellite.

There are so many people out there who cannot access what should be available every day on the Internet. Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg agrees.

This is good news for people like me. Where I live, even the rural Internet providers cannot set up service unless you pay them a ton of money.

Accessing the Internet via satellite will make it cheaper and easier to use. Love it!

Facebook says:

Facebook and Eutelsat, a satellite operator, announced their collaboration today on a new satellite called the Amos-6, which will launch into a geostationary orbit next year, beaming Internet into communities that do not otherwise have access.
