This past week I've been mentally ready to do some grilling and I came across a great way to build a smoker for less than $100. While I may of stopped by Ranch & Home 4-6 times to make sure I had everything my new 'Durty Smoker' is built and ready for labor day weekend. She cost less than $75 to build and I got everything at Ranch & Home.

Check out the first pics of 'The Durty Smoker' and try out Focker's Famous BBQ Sauce(recipe below).

Focker's Famous BBQ Sauce -

2 Cups of Ketchup

1 Cup of Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 Cup of water

3 tablespoons of minced garlic(I love Garlic)

3 tablespoons of olive oil

3 tablespoons of special BBQ Rub(Any generic rub will work)

a dash of liquid smoke

1/4 cup of honey

1 teaspoon of cayenne

1 teaspoon of red pepper flake(Feel free to add more if you like it hot)

Directions: Heat up olive oil and add minced garlic until browned. This brings out the real strong flavor in the garlic. Then add remaining ingredients and heat through while mixing. let simmer for 10-15 minutes and refrigerate. You may think it's really thin and soupy but when you refrigerate it overnight the heat will increase and the sauce will thicken. Next and finally, add it to some ribs, chicken, or pulled pork and enjoy.

I'll be smoking a pork butt this weekend with my favorite sauce and I'll let you know how it was next week.
