Looks like former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody may be in some legal trouble. The musician and popular songwriter is reportedly being sued by Rider Management Inc. for $500,000 in unpaid commissions.

According to TMZ, Rider Management Inc. has claimed to be working with Moody since 2006, which would grant the company a certain amount of commission through Moody's various musical endeavors. Since Moody's departure from Evanescence in 2003, he has established a successful career as a pop and rock songwriter, claiming writing credits for Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Celine Dion and various others. Moody has also embarked on a solo career and founded the rock band We Are the Fallen.

Details are scare regarding the alleged legal action against Moody, but Rider Management Inc. is reportedly claiming that Moody stiffed them for half-a-million bucks, keeping that money for himself rather than paying Rider its commission. Moody nor Rider Management Inc. has yet to make a public comment on these accusations.

Moody's most recent solo release, 'You Can't Regret What You Don't Remember,' was unleashed in November 2011, via the musician's own label, FNR Records.
