Dennis Huston, the 65-year-old manager of the Franklin County Public Works Department, is in jail on suspicions of embezzling $1 million from the county. He told police it was mostly for cocaine.According to the Tri-City Herald, Huston created a fake company in 2001 with the same name as a firm his department had contracts with but had gone out of business.

Get this -- Huston was jailed in 1986 for a similar crime in Montana! Doesn't Franklin County do background checks?!

He is assumed innocent until proven guilty and has not yet been charged, but he is under investigation for first-degree theft, money laundering and possession of cocaine.

10 years is a long time, but $1 million is also a lot of blow! Didn't anybody notice his continuously red nose and eyes? He must have had a pretty convincing story about allergies.

$1 million! Think about how many guns that bought drug traffickers in Mexico! This guy sent his dealer's kids to college!

The shake-up also included putting 8 other public works employees on administrative leave. We'll have to see if more develops about that later.
