Gas Station TV Annoying? Use This Hack to Turn Off the Volume
We've all been there. You've had a crummy day at work, someone cut you off in traffic and, you look down, and notice you're almost out of gas. As you pull up to a gas station and start pumping your fuel this little TV turns on full of rainbows and sunshine telling you about some exclusive offer or why you shouldn't be so down on yourself. You don't need to take this crap from a little monitor, not at these gas prices. Here's a quick tip on how to turn off the volume so you don't have to hear about it right now.
Those buttons on the side of the screen that let you choose your options when pumping gas if you want to use your reward points or also purchase a car wash and all that, when the tv starts playing one of those buttons will, most likely, turn the sound off. At this particular gas station, it's the one I'm pushing in this photo but sometimes it's the upper-right hand one. You won't hurt anything if you just start pressing all the buttons until you can just stand there in silence collecting your thoughts.
