Part of what makes America great are the fall festivals, easy to get to from just about every American city. Just as the Tri-Cities loves Middleton Farms, so do the people in a little town south of Portland called Gervais love Bauman's Harvest Festival.

They feature lots of activities including a petting zoo and apple cannon (Oh I want one!) and of course a corn maze. Kids can jump on the giant jumping pillow and play in the giant gopher hole, while parents enjoy samples of fresh apple cider.

Naturally, none of this is free, there is an admission charge. Part of the excitement is watching the 1000 pound pumpkins dropped from a crane into a small swimming pool! But you don't have to drive to Gervais, OR to watch...I have videos for you here!
