Good Riddance! – American Idol to End in 2016

Well, it's about damn time! American Idol is calling it a day after 15 years.

A massive hit in the 2000's, American Idol will surely go down in history as one of the most successful shows made. But it just sputtered out these last few years. Fans just didn't invest in the contestants and winners anymore.

Personally, I think Idol should have been canned after Simon Cowell left for the X-Factor.

With the popularity of The Voice overwhelming Idol in recent years, I think Fox is making the right choice.
