The new year is already looking rosy for Green Day fans, as the band has announced a string of rescheduled 2013 tour dates. The pop-punk trio was forced to scrap a series of shows earlier this year, after singer Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab for undisclosed substance-abuse issues, but now, things appear to be back on track, and the group will cruise through North America in March and April 2013.

News of the rerouted tour comes with some additional cancellations, however, as Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool have put the kibosh on 10 shows previously scheduled for January and February. Green Day's full 2013 itinerary -- including the cancelled dates -- is below.

"We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months," Green Day said in a statement. "We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows."

"Dear friends... I just want to thank you all for the love and support you've shown for the past few months," added Armstrong. "Believe me, it hasn't gone unnoticed and I'm eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I'm getting better everyday. So now, without further ado, the show must go on. We can't wait to get on the road and live out load! Our passion has only grown stronger."

The band plans to honor all tickets for the postponed gigs and refund those it was forced to cancel. They're expected to announce West Coast dates in early 2013.
