The Perseids are at it again! A bright moon really hampers meteor viewing and that won't be an issue this weekend. Experts are expecting a meteor to streak across the sky at the rate of about one every minute! 60-70 per hour, they say! Saturday and Sunday should be pretty good for viewing, but according to Astronomy.com, the best viewing will be late Sunday night into Monday morning. This is probably the best meteor viewing of the year, they say. There are also more really bright ones streaking across the sky with the Perseid Meteor Shower. I've seen some that are fast streaks of light, and others where you can see flames streaming!
