I Think Kelly Clarkson Ripped off Jimmy Eat World

I was in the car one day and I heard Kelly Clarkson's new song, "Heartbeat Song" come on. I started singing along, thinking it was "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World.

That's how close this song is.

Then this video confirmed my suspicions.

I should have known better than that, how talented at songwriting could an American Idol product truly be?
