Apparently some folks in Umatilla County would like to see the bridge that connects Washington and Oregon over the Columbia River C-L-O-S-E-D. The reason stems from possible unnecessary travel and some OR residents have complained about seeing WA license plates at golf courses there. The bottom line is that coronavirus deaths are still on the rise and driving to Oregon unnecessarily is like driving the carrier-monkey to the airport. Can Dustin Hoffman find a cure in time?

While there are no plans as of this moment to close the pathway between WA and OR, those that want it closed might be forgetting about the people with essential jobs that commute daily between Umatilla County and Tri-Cities.
