Moses Lake Police certainly have their work cut out for them. Recently, officers responded to a report of a man slumped over the wheel of a vehicle at a gas station.

Upon arrival at the gas pumps, Police found the suspect, a 36-year old man sleeping in the vehicle. As officers woke up the sleeping man, he started the vehicle and tried to drive away.

Brian VanBuren of Spokane Denied Being Under the Influence

After investigation, it was determined that the suspect indeed was under the influence. According to the Moses Lake Police Department:

A subsequent search of his car yielded a total of about 13 grams of meth, fentanyl, and cocaine. He also had a sizeable amount of cash in the car.

What Was the Suspect Planning to Do With All Those Dugs and Cash?

After a complete search of the suspect's vehicle, Moses Lake Police uncovered a a large amount of illegal street drugs, including:

• 13 grams of methamphetamine
•  Fentanyl
•  Cocaine

It turns out that VanBuren also was found to have a sizeable amount of cash in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Grant County jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver.
