This is Why the Seahawks Kept “More Bobo” Alive with a New Deal
The Seattle Seahawks officially brought Jake Bobo back after matching an offer sheet signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but I think there is a long-term reason why.
That locks Bobo into a new deal and helps Seattle keep one of their most unique playmakers.

If you remember, a few weeks ago, I said Jake Bobo just felt like a guy the Seattle Seahawks would not let walk.
Well…that call aged pretty well.

For a minute there, it looked like Bobo might actually be gone.
The Jaguars made a move, and suddenly Seahawks fans were holding their breath a bit. But Seattle stepped in, matched the deal, because just like I thought, the Seahawks were not about to lose him.
The whole “More Bobo” thing took off for a reason.
Bobo is More Than Just a Fan Favorite
He is a reliable target, a physical blocker, and one of those guys who just seems to be in the right place when it matters.
I think the Seahawks want to eventually use Bobo in the slot position, doing the same things Cooper Kupp does now. Having a solid receiver who can block is rare these days in the NFL, and both Kupp and Bobo specialize in that.
Bobo said it himself after the deal that he didn’t want to go anywhere else, and I think everyone knew that.
That says a lot about the locker room and culture Seattle has built. Guys want to be here, and the team clearly wants to keep the right pieces together.
