If you have ever been to Yakima, that is the one cool thing that Yakima has that we don't have in the Tri-Cities is a fun family center.

Meadowbrook Fun Center in Yakima has batting cages, go-karts, bumper boats, and a video arcade.

I took my son there a ton of times and I always recommend Meadowbrook to out-of-town visitors.

Virtual Reality Pods Are Coming To The Tri-Cities

I'm glad we are finally getting something similar in the Tri-Cities. We have other facilities for families here but each seems to be more of specialization of one thing - It will be great to have an all-inclusive fun center with multiple things to do.

In an article from KEPR-TV, Quake is what the new family fun facility will be called. It's being described as a new high-bred family entertainment center that will include two virtual-reality pods.

Quake is expected to open in the fall of 2022 but progress is being made with the groundbreaking in April. You can read more details about the new fun center here.
