Kennewick Strip Club Denied After Running it Up the City’s Pole
No nudie bar, for now.
The proposed City Stars Gentleman's Club is on hold after the City of Kennewick denied a business license for the establishment citing failure to meet proper building code requirements.
There is no stage to dance on, that's probably a good place to start.
The business is in a shared building space where only one side can be used for adult entertainment. Two interior doors need a wall replacement for proper separation.
Owners have applied for a liquor license for a sports bar that would share a wall with the strip club inside the former Lucky Bridge Casino Building on S. Gum St. near the Cable Bridge, but that shared space must be physically and legally separate, by law.
The establishment can apply again once the work is finished. An early 2018 make-it-rain-opening is still planned, there was no comment from the owner of the club after the application was turned down.
