KFC’s Smoky Mountain BBQ Fried Chicken Debuts Monday: Will You Try It?

Serious KFC connoisseurs take note:

The fast food giant is launching their new Smoky Mountain BBQ fried chicken on Monday.

The recipe boasts a "touch of vinegar to please North Carolinians, a little bit of sweetness of the Kansas City-style faithful" and crispiness that "even Memphis dry rub fans will appreciate."

Editors at the foodie website, The Daily Meal said it "did not even taste like fast food".

There's a KFC in Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and Walla Walla and three in Yakima.

And I love the KFC current advertising run.....I wonder how this will be incorporated in their presentation, if at all? No celebrity cameos, PLEASE!
