A man managed to track down his car that had been stolen earlier that day and held the thief until police got there. Rafael Ochoa Jr pleaded guilty to motor vehicle theft after stealing a man's running car from his driveway. When the owner returned to his driveway and found his car missing he called police. A neighbor said she saw Rafael Ochoa Jr get into the car and drive away according to news reports.

Later the police got a report or a disturbance related to the car theft and found the owner and Ochoa face to face about to fight. The owner had seen Ochoa driving his car and tried to get him to pull over but Ochoa refused. The owner then cut him off and pulled him out of the car, that is when police showed up. Ochoa insisted that he was just borrowing the car even though he did not know the owners name but said he had seen him before.
