Local Girl Scouts Hold Online Raffle Fundraiser

Girl Scout Troop 50117 focuses strictly on travel. This next summer is supposed to be their final trip of 3, however because of COVID, the girls were unable to take their trip last summer. They have been working hard at saving for 3 years! They range in age from 12-15 and are hard working, leadership driven girls who want to do community service while traveling. There are 6 girls and 3 adults traveling. Again because of Covid they have been unable to hold normal face to face fund raisers, so the girls came up with a great idea, They are selling virtual raffle tickets and selling handmade and donated items to raffle off. There are small items like ornaments and there are larger items, such as a handmade quilt.
