Below is what I received in the mail from Rep. Dan Newhouse. I did respond. I will not share my selections because that is my business, and none of yours. I will say, the second sentence of the statement and the first question in the survey automatically assume there is a crisis at the border. The survey begins at a level of assumption I'm not sure everyone agrees with:

Do You Support Border Security?  On Tuesday night, President Trump made his case that we must respond to the crisis on our southern border to safeguard our national security, and he has also previously called for a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients. I have visited the border firsthand and heard from the men and women who patrol it, which is why I support funding border security requested by the President and keeping the government open. Now, I want to hear from you:

Do you believe the crisis at the southern border needs to be addressed?
Yes
No
Do you support President Trump's border security proposal?
Yes
No
Would you support a border security and DACA solution compromise deal?
Yes
No

Responding to this survey will opt you in to receive updates from Rep. Newhouse.I am committed to finding a compromise between the House of Representatives, Senate, and the President that will reopen the government, secure our borders, and provide certainty for DACA recipients. To stay current on this and the other work I am doing in Central Washington and in Washington D.C., I encourage you to follow me on  Facebook Twitter , and  Instagram  and to read updates on my  website . It is an honor and a privilege to represent you in Congress.Sincerely,

Dan Newhouse
Member of Congress
