After receiving rave reviews for his practices, and interviews (especially about Tyler Hilinksi), WSU QB Luke Falk will bow out of the Senior Bowl.

The game gives seniors a chance to show NFL scouts their abilities in a college "all-star" game.

Luke Falk had been seen as the quarterback who had shown the most growth through practices and reps.

Known as #4 for his record-setting career with WSU, breaking numerous Pac-12 passing records; Luke Falk wore Tyler Hilinski's #3 in tribute.

He's bowed out of the Senior Bowl to catch a flight to California and attend his teammate's funeral.

Tyler Hilinksi rose to national spotlight after he started the WSU's bowl game this year. It was a valiant effort, but the Cougs lost the Holiday Bowl.

Hilinksi was highly regarded as the heir apparent to take over the WSU offense next season. Unfortunately, he took his own life earlier this month.

Falk who said he and Hilinski will be forever connected, has been vocal in the last few weeks, urging for suicide prevention and awareness.
