Major Earthquake Strikes Off Oregon Coast No Tsunami Expected

The Us Geological survey recorded a magnitude 6.3 earthquake this morning off of the Oregon coast

The earthquake struck at around 8 am this morning and was centered roughly 170 out to sea off of the Oregon coast. While a magnitude 6.3 earthquake is very significant experts are not anticipating a tsunami as a result of the quake. There have been no reports of injury or damage from this mornings quake.

You may recall there was a magnitude 5.4 earthquake earlier this month on August 16th.
