If you love seafood and regularly shop and Albertsons grocery stores, keep reading! They have just issued a voluntary recall for three different ready made seafood meals because allergy ingredients that were not included on the label. In case you don't know, food allergies are a very serious thing. My wife almost died from food allergies early into our relationship, and we had to be very careful for years. Millions of Americans suffer from food allergies just like my wife.

If you have food allergies, Albertsons wants those customers to not consume them, discard them, or return them for a refund. There have been no reports so far of any reactions or problems by costumers getting sick. The recall was issued because they found the missing labeled ingredients after an internal technical review. If you are concerned about illness from the recall, they urge you to contact your health care provider.

The recall affects all the brands associated with Albertsons including Albertsons Cos. store banners: ACME, Albertsons, Andronico’s Community Markets, Balducci’s, Carrs-Safeway, Eagle, Jewel-Osco, King’s, Pak ‘N Save, Safeway, Shaw’s, Star Market and Vons.

The states that are affected by the recall are : Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Washington state, Washington D.C., and Wyoming according to reports.
