An Oklahoma man taped adult magazines to his body for protection after allegedly challenging a former neighbor to a knife fight.

"I've been to prison, I know how to protect myself" says 49-year old Donald Gene Gaither who was arrested with a knife in each hand, and his body encircled by adult magazines for armor.

Gaither was having a bad day, was in self-described "survival mode" and was stalking his neighbor over an old beef that he decided to settle with a knife fight challenge.

Gaither had taped a number of adult magazines to his midsection as a sort of makeshift body armor, calling his ex-neighbor out for a knife fight duel because Gaither was convinced his neighbor got him kicked out of the trailer park. The neighbor declined the invitation, calling the police instead.

Gaither previously served time in prison for aggravated assault and battery, robbery, possession of stolen property and extortion.

He faces charges for assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of an offensive weapon. (?)
