Man Uses Axe to Fend Off Intruder

“There was a bloody mess everywhere,” says Ben Ball, 36. Ben used a battle axe to fend off an intruder. He had been watching Rick & Morty and playing video games when he heard the door open at 11:30 PM. He went for the axe and dug in Patrick Bateman style. Bell hit the intruder at least once in the torso before they started fighting. They made quite a mess, and the intruder was leaking so much that police were able to track him down after he ran for it. The police said there was enough damage sustained by the suspect to warrant an overnight stay in the hospital. He would later be transferred to jail.

Ben says he collects several weapons, mostly replicas of Viking smithery. The axe was made by a late friend, and Ball calls it his "baby."
