Man Uses Tri-Cities Craigs-list to Rent Out Stolen Home

A theft by fraud report was received by the West Richland Police Department on May 1st 2013. Marc A. Trujillo was caught trying to rent out a home on Craigs-list that belongs to a Navy serviceman who is currently deployed overseas. The victim reported that she met with this man and paid him to secure the rent. Soon after, the victim discovered that the Craigs-list rental property was being sold through a local realty company. On May 2nd, the West Richland Police Department conducted a sting operation that lead to an additional stolen property in Kennewick and the arrest of Trujillo. The Police Department continues to investigate this case for more suspects.
