Mission Monopoly 2: Mandatory Metallica World Tour Board Game

"The Memory Remains" regarding the first time Monopoly and Metallica got together, almost a decade ago, in 2011. Now, like S&M and S&M2, and don't get me started on the THREE different versions of "The Unforgiven", now Metallica has come back with another Monopoly board game, and this one is where the band conquers the world. Since they're the only group to ever do all seven continents, it made perfect sense for the guys to do some globetrotting. An Instagram post alerted the faithful:

In the first Monopoly and Metallica mash-up, game pieces included the Kill 'Em All hammer, ...And Justice For All scales, St. Anger fist, Black Album snake, ninja star, and the "Jump in the Fire" demon.

It is a true roamers romp, whenever, whatever, wherever, as players "Pass Go" through historic Metallica events and locations around the board such as club shows, festivals, studios, childhood homes and other metal landmarks. Create your own real estate empire, not with hotels and motels, but by adding arenas and stadiums to all your properties.

This time the celebration is all about life on the road, including the World Record breaking, Whiplash-filled year of 2013 when Metallica became the first and only band to ever perform on all seven continents.

Tour around the globe ("Atlas, Rise!"?) with your collectable token to some of the band’s favorite cities in North America, South America, Europe ("Whisky in the Jar"), Asia, Australia, and Africa. You’ll even find yourself "Trapped Under Ice" in Antarctica!

Purchase property with your Metalli-bucks, then "Blitzkrieg" your opponent by acquiring all the cities on one continent, and finally add arenas and stadiums ("The House that Jack Built"?) to increase your value. Land on one of the “Carpe Diem” or “Shortest Straw” spaces and be rewarded with sticks, picks, and snake pit passes, or fined with parking and stage repair fees. Travel the world, Metallica-style, while building your real estate empire to victory. But, where's your crown, "King Nothing"?
