Moses Lake Driver Busted With a Coyote Puppy in Front Seat
An alert Moses Lake Police Officer noticed a car he had pulled over before for driving with a suspended license and he stopped the vehicle again around 2:00am Monday as the driver still had not fixed a broken tail light. And that's when the officer noticed a coyote puppy in the front seat.
When asked, what gives with the coyote, the driver replied he thought it was a husky.
The driver also got out of the car even when he was ordered not to, and then a slight scuffle ensued before the man was subdued and taken into custody. He can add resisting arrest to another driving while suspended charge.
For the record, it is only legal to own a coyote with a special permit from the Washington Fish and Wildlife department. It is doubtful the suspect attained one.
