
Need a Turkey for Holidays? Here Is How You Get a Free One
It's the 5th annual Second Harvest Turkey Drive for the Tri-Cities and Yakima Valley and if you need a turkey, here is how you get one for free.
Second Harvest will have it's 5th annual Turkey Drive with three locations to get a holiday meal box that will include a turkey and all the fixings.
The mission remains the same but this year the days and locations have changed and if you are in need of a turkey, here is how you can get one for the holidays.
To get a free meal box, these are the locations, times, and details:
Monday, November 23rd:
Sunnyside:
▪ Sunnyview Park, 31211 Yakima Valley Hwy.
▪ 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
▪ Drive-through
▪ 600 families. One box per vehicle
Yakima:
▪ Yakima Valley College, S. 16th Ave. & Nob Hill Blvd.
▪ 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
▪ Drive-through
▪ 600 families. One box per vehicle
Tuesday, November 24th:
o Kennewick
o Toyota Center, 7000 W. Grandridge Blvd.
o Drive through
o 1,000 families. One box per vehicle
Due to the pandemic, all three distributions will be drive-thru and each vehicle will be limited to one box while supplies last.
Your box will include a turkey with all the fixings and no documentation is required.
