New Seahawk DB Quinton Dunbar Wanted in Florida Armed Robbery
Arrest warrants have been issued for Seattle Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar and New York Giants CB Deandre Baker by Miramar, FL, police on four counts of Armed Robbery with a Firearm; Baker is also charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.
Allegedly, thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry was heisted from a cookout party where cards and video games were being played and wagered on without incident until an argument broke out.
The cops said that one witness told them they had met Baker and Dunbar at a party a few days earlier in Miami at which the NFL players had "lost" around $70,000. According to TMZ, Baker and Dunbar lost the money in high-stakes card games and other forms of gambling.
There are conflicting reports from witnesses about whether Dunbar was armed with a gun, some say he was, others say he was not.
Also, some party goers think the whole thing might have been planned due to the "strategic nature" of where the getaway cars were parked.
