NEW UPDATE: How To Fix Logging Into Your New Seahawks App
If your a fan of the Seahawks, I am sure you have the official Seahawks app. If your a season ticket holder, the app is the gate keeper to all your tickets and perks.
A couple weeks ago there was a new update for the app that caused all kinds of problems when I tried to login to my Seahawks Member account. Every time I clicked "login", I would get this error.
No matter what I did I could not get past this screen. I closed the app, but when I opened it again the same issue happened. After thinking about it for a while, I tried to completely delete the app and reinstall it. I came up with a complete reinstall because "not authorized" seemed to show that old data that was locking me out of my account login.
After deleting the app, reinstalling it, and then trying to login to my Seahawks member account, I tried to login again. This time I did not get the "not authorized" message, but a completely new one when I tried to login to my Seahawks account. Ok, even though i can't login it is progress.
After trying my password multiple times and doing some digging, it turns out that the new app "REQUIRES YOU TO CREATE AN APP ACCOUNT SEPERATE FROM YOUR SEAHAWKS MEMBER ACCOUNT". I don't know why they can't be the same but I digress. I started going through the steps to create the App Account.
Once you create your new "App Account", you will see a button to link the App Account to your official "Seahawks Account." After you finally connect everything, your main account window should look like this after you login.
Success! Now you can get to your tickets and all the perks that come with being a Seahawks Season Ticket holder. I'll see you at Lumen Field this season! Go Seahawks!
