What Do You Know About This Out-of-Place Piece of History in Pasco on Court Street?
Recently, I saw this out-of-place tractor in Pasco.
Every week I go to physical therapy in Pasco on Court Street. Every time I park, I see this old tractor. I wonder why it's here. What is the significance?

I inquired about it on Facebook and received a reply from Amanda.
I do not know why it's there BUT I do know that McCormick was the inventor of the reaper, right before John Deere with the plow in the late 1800's. This, I believe, is a 1940s model after they partnered with Deering. I just went over this with my 7th grader while doing a homeschool unit on the Sodbusters.
I noticed it has "McCormick-Deering" displayed, who is McCormick-Deering?
I did some research.
Cyrus Hall McCormick was an inventor born in Virginia in 1809. His father was a farmer, blacksmith, and inventor. Cyrus spent a lot of time in his father's workshop. In 1831 Cyrus built a reaper. He went on to establish the McCormick Deering Company in 1831. In 1847, Cyrus created the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company. Then, in 1902, the 5 largest farm equipment companies (including Deering Harvester Company) merged to create the International Harvester Company. (IHC)
So, Why is this tractor on display at this Pasco parking lot?
Not quite sure, but I vow to find out. On my next physical therapy visit, I will go into the neighboring businesses to inquire. I read on Wikipedia that an industrial model was made specifically for orchards and vineyards.
