Did you hear that explosion near Southridge High School? Kennewick Police are investigating what appears to be a homemade bomb that exploded in the Southridge High School parking lot.

Kennewick Police received reports of a loud explosion in South Kennewick this afternoon. KPD are currently investigating but did discover fragments and debris left behind from a pressure cooker bomb in the parking lot of Southridge High.

Reports are saying a silver Ford Focus and it's occupants might be involved in the incident.

Kennewick Police Bomb Squad have been called to the scene and are investigating but at this time no damage has been reported. A pressure cooker was shattered into fragments at the scene of the reported incident.
