Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha joined the rap duo Run the Jewels onstage Friday (Jan. 30) at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Run the Jewels were supporting Jack White at the legendary venue.

De la Rocha is featured on the group’s track ‘Close Your Eyes (And Count To F—k)’ and the RATM frontman performed that song with the group. This isn't the first time de la Rocha has appeared with the group. Back in November, he shared the stage with Run the Jewels in Los Angeles. Check out a video of their most recent performance above (Zack appears around the 2:40 mark).

According to The PRP, there are also rumors that de la Rocha and El-P from Run the Jewels worked on new music in the studio in January. The rumors started after El-P made comments to that effect at an in-store event. The rapper later fueled those rumors by posting the following vague statement on Twitter, “please understand the ZDLR thing is not at all 100%. y’all gonna f--k it up by jumping the gun on that one. bad luck. BAD LUCK I SAY.” El-P further commented, “Or maybe I’m lying about it not being confirmed. hard to tell, really. not sure i even know if i know.”

De la Rocha isn’t the only Rage Against the Machine member getting in on the collaboration fun. It was recently reported that Tom Morello is working on Anti-Flag’s new album ‘American Spring.’ He was also part of a cover of ‘Crazy Train’ featuring Serj Tankian, Vinny Appice and more.
