School is Closed So Why Are the Buses Still Running?

There's still a lot  of activity and children and/or parents around school buses these days, even though there's no school for the rest of the year. That's because school buses are now delivering what would usually be meals at school to students. I've seen many school buses pulled over to the side of the road with no lights flashing while they hand out meals, but keep in mind they are out and usually have people near them as you drive by. Richland School Dist. has already delivered over 70,000 meals!
