97 Rock presents: "The Live Five for 25 Years" LOCAL concert series, and it hits the midway point on Friday, August 23rd, as the Big 9-7 welcomes 3 Doors Down to the Benton County Fair.

The series began with Breaking Benjamin and Bad Wolves April 10th, followed on April 25th by Halestorm. Still to come, Ghost on September 17th and Shinedown with Papa Roach on October 18th. Right now, the focus is the Fair and a band that has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, 3 Doors Down.

97 Rock was about a half-dozen years into our 25 year run when 3 Doors Down exploded onto the scene with 2000's smash "Kryptonite", from the album, "The Better Life" which sold six million copies, spawning other hits like, "Loser" and "Duck and Run".

Expect to hear the smashes "When I'm Gone" and "It's Not My Time" too, as the band originally from Mississippi comes to the Tri-Cities for the first time to play LIVE.
