The Yakama Nation Police are now investigating the discovery of a woman's body found in Harrah last Thursday. Deputies from the Yakima County Sheriff's Office  were called to the 9300 block of Branch road in Harrah early last Thursday morning for a report of a dead body found in a field about 20 feet from the roadway.

A passing driver first spotted the body and called authorities

The body was first discovered by a driver who first spotted the boot in the roadway then saw the body and called authorities.
Since the discovery authorities have identified the body as that of a 19-year-old Native American female from White Swan. Because of that the Yakama Nation Police and the FBI are now investigating the death.
No other information is available as the investigation continues.

Detectives are still investigating a body found in Parker this month

Yakima County Sheriff's Detectives are busy investigating the other body found in Parker as a homicide. Deputies were called to the Parker orchard near Parker Bridge and North Track roads at about 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2 after a report of a body found in the area. When they arrived they found a 32-year-old man from Yakima dead near his vehicle. An autopsy supported what detectives had suspected that 32-year-old Feliciano Galvan-Morales from Yakima was a victim of a homicide. Officials say he was the victim of a fatal shooting.
