Slash Delivers Full ‘Apocalyptic Love’ Performance for New ‘360′ App
By now, you’ve had a chance to digest the new Slash album ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ but how would you like to see it played live from front to back with an up-close view of the action?
That’s what you’ll get with the new Slash 360 app from Mativision that was just made available on iTunes. It takes you into the studio with Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, as well as producer Eric Valentine, as they bring you the actual live performance of the disc from the studio.
They used six 360-degree spherical cameras to catch all the action, giving the viewer the intimacy wanted for the experience. Plus the user has the option of choosing whichever camera angle they want when viewing with full zoom-in and zoom-out options available. The app is now available at iTunes for 99 cents.
Slash is currently on tour overseas, but he’ll return to the U.S. in July where fans can see the real thing in action. He’s also receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on July 10, just ahead of the next round of North American dates.
