It's a record for the passes in the region. So, just how much snow? The Washington State Department of Transportation reports that Snoqualmie Pass has received 236 inches of snow this season. And, more is on the way...possibly 30 inches.

Heavy mountain snow and high winds closed several roads in Washington and Oregon on Monday.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Cascades of Washington until Wednesday morning. Possibly as much as 15 more inches of snow could fall over the next day making travel difficult at times. WSDOT and ODOT are warning that pass closures are possible. Chains are currently required for Snoqualmie Pass I-90 and Stevens Pass US 2. From the National Weather Service in Pendleton:
In 2007, Snoqualmie Pass received 229 inches of snow and 212 inches was reported in 2004.
