When you're famous, you get to meet a lot of your idols. However, Steve-O's relationship with Tommy Lee and the rest of Motley Crue began when he was 13.

He got to meet them after a concert, and then reached back out to Tommy Lee after Jackass 2 was released and Steve-O was in serious legal trouble.

This kick-started in a relationship with the band. When the band re-united with Tommy Lee, Steve-O was asked to introduce the band. Yes, that's his real blood he speared on himself like Motley Crue's signature make-up.
