5 Fun Things About the JUNE Sips and Suds Event at the Central WA Ag Museum
5 Fun Things About the Annual Sips and Suds Event at the Central WA Ag Museum
If you are the kind of person who loves to go to wine events, there is something coming up in less than a month from now that I think is perfect for you! It is the annual Sun, Sips and Suds event hosted by the fun folks at the Central WA Ag Museum. Mark your calendar for FRIDAY, June 17th. Here are 5 fun things to expect!
1.
Sun
Sunshine in the Yakima Valley is plentiful during the month of June. There are typically not that many rainy days but it can be kind of windy, so just be prepared. Bring your coolest sunglasses and lots of sunscreen.
2.
Sips
Plan on consuming a bit of beverages at this event, after all, it's got "sips" in the name of it. There will be wine and distilleries onsite.
3.
Suds
When I think of the word "suds" I think, bubble bath time. But there will be none of those kinds of shenanigans at this event. The kind of suds you will see are the beer kind. Lots of foam, lots of foam.
4.
Live Music
What kind of fun outdoor event in the summertime isn't complete without some great music? There will be some live bands and the music lineup should be released to the public very soon.
5.
Food
The Central Washington Agricultural Museum event website says to BYOB: bring your own blankets! Lawn chairs are a must, too. That way, you'll have a sweet place to crash in the grass as you drink your bevvies and nosh on some of the food. Bring some extra cash, too!
This event at Fullbright Park in Union Gap (4508 Main St) is 21+ so don't be trying to sneak in your toddlers in strollers or babies wrapped up in a burrito blanket!
