System of a Down's breakout hit 'Chop Suey!' captivated millions after its 2001 release and allowed System to become perhaps the weirdest metal band to be embraced by the mainstream in the 21st century. When you have a truly weird song, the logical step is for fans to create weird covers, as this musician did with a marimba.

Even with System of a Down's history of experimentation, the band has never gone near a marimba. Posted by Matthias De Hantsetters, a young metalhead from Belgium, this 'Chop Suey!' cover brings a strangely fitting sound to the System of a Down classic. Hantsetters has tackled acts such as Amon Amarth and Behemoth on his wooden marimba, but this version of 'Chop Suey!' is our favorite.

Using three beaters, Hantsetters displays great musicianship while experimenting around with 'Chop Suey!'. The player also performs his interpretation over the original song itself, allowing viewers to grasp the entire scope of a marimba-injected 'Chop Suey!'.
