With over 300 runners showing up for the inaugural Run From The Cops Charity 5k Fun Run, needless to say it was a success. The real winners from this event is the Special Olympics of Washington State.

The 1st Annual Run from the Cops Midnight 5k Fun Run to benefit the Special Olympics of Washington State takes place just before midnight on Saturday July 14th in Kennewick. Detective Sgt. Randy Maynard of the Kennewick Police told us that after his wife said he should do a midnight 5k charity run from the cops event, he was instantly a fan and started the planning process.

This past January Team 97 Rock raised $2,000 for the Special Olympics of Washington State with the annual Polar Plunge, here's your chance to help out and all it takes is a 'Like'.
